Unai Arozena is a 41 years old Venezuelan photographer with more than 20 years in the photography business. Unai lived in the Basque Country for 13 years where he began his career as a Professional Motor Sports Photographer becoming a reference in Europe. Unai was appointed the best photographer of the World Series by Renault.

Once there, he realized that he had to show to the world the beauty of the Basque Country, a place where the villages are hugged by mountains, history shapes its streets and the passion for food is present in every conversation.

Unai says:

“The Basque Country is one of the most spectacular countries I have ever visited. I was fortunate enough to live in Euskal Herria (The land of the Basque in Euskara). The culture and its traditions are passed on from generation to generation feeding the soul of its people and preserving the integrity of one of the most ancient cultures in the world.

As a child of Basque immigrants, this gallery is very special and personal to me. Every picture reflects a piece of the undeniable love I have for Euskal Herria and the depth of its culture and richness of the people. My hope is to bring a taste of what the basque culture is about...”

For us it is an honour and pleasure to exhibit the work of a renowned photographer in our Gallery from March 20 2016 to May 14 2016.
